When attempting to install a scanner, I found this error: The scanner can not be initialized. (Scanner not found).

I went to the HP website and downloaded the software, but the problem occurs and is the message. I have the times before and never encountered this problem. Please can someone help? And do not tell me with a computer and scanner to restart, I was not. HELP!
